Item Details
A superb quality Regency mahogany extending dining table of exceptional colour and patina raised on elegant turned and reeded legs terminating in the original brass caps and castors.
This versatile table features a smooth pull-out extending action and comes complete with three original leaves allowing a variety of size configurations. The two end consoles can be used separately as matching side or serving tables, joined together to form a smaller dining table, or extended with one, two, or all three leaves inserted to accommodate up to twelve diners.
The beautifully figured mahogany top displays a fine mellow sheen with rounded corners and a moulded edge typical of refined Regency craftsmanship. The extending mechanism operates smoothly and securely, making this both an elegant and practical centrepiece for dining or entertaining.
