Item Details
An antique Victorian mahogany Pembroke drop leaf dining table of useful compact proportions with two hinged drop leaves allowing it to be adapted for different spaces and occasions. The rectangular top has rounded corners and a moulded edge above a plain frieze supported by four finely turned legs terminating in original brass castors.
When fully opened it provides a practical dining surface suitable for four people. With both leaves lowered it becomes a narrow side table or console making it ideal for a smaller dining room kitchen apartment or hallway.
The warm mahogany has a rich mellow colour and the simple elegant design allows this versatile antique table to work equally well in a traditional or contemporary interior.
