Item Details
A refined set of eight antique mahogany dining chairs each with elegant balloon backs and finely carved central splats, displaying pleasing symmetry and confident mid-19th-century proportions. The frames are well-figured quality mahogany, with turned and tapering legs united by robust stretchers, giving both visual balance and practical strength. Recently upholstered in a tasteful grey herringbone fabric, the seats provide a subtle, contemporary contrast while remaining entirely in keeping with the period character. The warm colour of the mahogany is enhanced by a well-preserved patina, highlighting the quality of the timber and craftsmanship throughout. A versatile and decorative set, equally suited to a formal dining room or a more relaxed interior.
