Item Details
A fine pair of Edwardian mahogany display cabinets each of tall and elegant form with line and satinwood inlay throughout and delicate geometric marquetry panels to the lower doors. The moulded cornices are above glazed doors enclosing two interior glass shelves and original green velvet-lined backs, all raised on square tapering legs with spade feet.
Retaining their original brass escutcheons and locks, these cabinets display the refined craftsmanship and classical influence typical of the early 20th century. Their narrow, architectural proportions make them ideal for use in hallways, drawing rooms, or as a matched pair for flanking fireplaces.
