A superb pair of antique French kingwood marquetry inlaid marble top bedside cabinets, beautifully crafted with elegant proportions, shaped marble tops and exquisite floral marquetry. Each cabinet is veneered in kingwood with wonderfully vibrant colour and striking chevron-pattern veneers to the drawer fronts and sides, enhanced with delicate floral marquetry inlay. The serpentine-front drawers are fitted with ornate original gilt bronze handles, while impressive gilt bronze mounts adorn each front corner. The beautifully figured marble tops feature an elegant serpentine outline and complement the warm tones of the kingwood perfectly.
