Item Details
A fine antique French Louis XV style kidney-shaped occasional table of elegant, refined form. The shaped top is beautifully veneered in well-chosen mahogany with satinwood crossbanding, enclosed within an ornate pierced brass gallery. Beneath the top sits a single frieze drawer retaining its original decorative brass handle and classical ormolu mounts to the corners.
The table stands on four slender cabriole legs each gently sweeping in profile united by a lower kidney-shaped undertier also edged with a matching pierced brass gallery. The combination of fine veneers, warm colour, and high-quality mounts creates a piece of exceptional decorative appeal.
Versatile in placement, this table is ideal as a lamp table, side table, hall or boudoir table—equally suited to traditional and refined modern interiors.
