The quality of the timber is immediately evident with striking figured patterns across the surface. The table stands on a well proportioned turned central column with four elegant reeded sabre legs terminating in original brass lion paw caps and castors, a classic Regency feature that adds both strength and movement. The tilt top mechanism is a particularly useful and desirable feature.
