Outstanding Quality Antique Victorian Burr Walnut Davenport

Outstanding quality antique Victorian burr walnut davenport having a gallery top above a lift up lid with a brown leather writing surface crossbanded in walnut. The lid opens to reveal a fitted interior and to the right hand side are four working drawers and four dummy drawers to the left hand side both in outstanding burr walnut with original turned walnut wooden knobs. The freestanding burr walnut back and burr walnut moulded front are of the best quality. It is supported by two shaped solid wood carved legs with scroll ends and raised on turned bun feet with original castors. A very desirable example in lovely condition.
