Fine quality antique Victorian burr walnut freestanding Davenport having a burr walnut shaped top opening to reveal a fitted interior, shaped burr walnut lift up lid writing surface with leather top opening to reveal a satinwood interior consisting of two working drawers and two dummy drawers with original turned knobs and a pretty shaped burr walnut frieze. Four burr walnut working drawers to the right-hand side with original turned walnut knobs, to the left-hand side four dummy drawers with original turned walnut knobs. Freestanding walnut back and quality beautifully inlaid walnut panel to the front with four superb quality carved and pierced solid walnut brackets. It stands on a plinth with original castors.
