Exceptional Quality Victorian Burr Walnut Inlaid Credenza

Exceptional quality Victorian burr walnut inlaid credenza having a burr walnut top with a thumb moulded edge. One door to centre with a fine burr walnut inlaid panel flanked by two shell designs. Bowed glass opening doors to sides with the original rose coloured interior, each door has a lock surrounded by an ornate gilded mount. Original gilded ornate metal mounts are evident in each corner of the front panel. Shaped freeze inlaid with three satinwood shells and boxwood inlaid stringing. This beautiful example of Victorian craftsmanship stands proudly on a shaped plinth base.
