Antique George III quality oak longcase clock by Henry Frost Philmoorehill having a removable arched hood with a shaped cornice and three brass finales, glazed door flanked by two turned columns with ornate brass capitals, long shaped door to the centre of the case above a shaped moulding raised on a plinth base. It boasts a fantastic brass and silvered arched dial with black Roman numerals, silent and strike dial, date calandra, seconds dial, original hands, signed Henry Frost Philmoorehill, eight day movement striking on the hour and half hour on a bell, original weights and pendulum and in perfect working order. A fabulous example in wonderful original condition and in full working order.
